Don't know why, but I liked it.

Can't say that it's the kind of thing that I'll be watching over and over again, but it is something that I still enjoyed that one time I saw it. Maybe it's because I have nothing but happy fond memories intertwined with everything Venga Boys related. Ah, I remember the time we blasted Boom Boom Boom Boom in the dumpy hobo section of West Los Angeles, screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs. Probably the first time the local residents were happy to see a rowdy group of white kids in an SUV cruising through being morons.

Ah...memories.

Well, anyways, it's very n00b, so mission accomplished. I give it a B.

Yay, thanks. I remember loving this song, can't remember why.

Thank you, captain obvious.

I was kinda expecting this to be a sarcastic jab at all the recent submissions. Not like, an actual guide that emphasizes I "take my time" with my Flash so that it's actually good. I think I might have that filed deep somewhere in my "NAWW REALLY DURRRR" drawer.

Here's what I mean. For example:

Here's how you get featured:
-Don't make a button tutorial. Especially if you can't even spell "on(release)" correctly.
-Don't have a lengthy TEXT-DRIVEN intro to shoddy Emo music you recorded through a web headset.
-If your shoddy Emo music takes up 4.999 megabytes in comparison to the file's .0009 bytes of space, please dump in a preloader.

You know, stuff like that. Stuff that makes fun of all the common pet peeves we get from all the young amateurs on the site. That's something new and original. But this...it's just so painfully obvious, I'm half-tempted to check your other submissions to see if you have a presentation on the importance of breathing.

Frenzy responds:

Check my other submissions, review them please.

Oh, and by the way, your more of a n00b than me, so don't be trashing me about Newgrounds.

It's odd

But hey, it's still got parts that made me laugh. Music choice works wonders, as well as a cast of celebrities. The sounds though are too loud in some parts. Some of the timing of the characters could use a little more tweaking, as a lot of their motion is very uniform and take too long. But that's merely technicalities. As a simple Flash done by a single mind, it's okay. Not great, not groundbreaking, but I don't regret downloading it.

I'd give it a C.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? IT'S VERY GROUNDBREAKING! IT BREAKS MUCH GROUND!

Animation is solid, and good for a quick laugh.

Basically, it's two gags put back and forth and don't really have any coexistance or overlap with one another. Worm gets hit by rock, man pees on worm, story is over.

I think that technically, the animation was sound. The facial expressions were good. But it's still a stick figure man, and I'm not a fan of most stick-related animation, which is what prevents me from giving this high marks from an aesthetic standpoint.

Sound functions well enough.

Yet the thing is, overall, the story just wasn't that engaging to me. I did giggle for a moment, but still, that just seems to be what the animation aims for: one moment.

N00bNation responds:

Good review. I understand what you say. Thanks

I'm sure it's useful to first-time Flash scripters

What in holy Hades is going wrong with my sound? That music! It's all going wonky and all over the place. Fortunately, since somebody else had just done a tutorial using blasting lamerock for background music, I've already got the volume control panel open lol. Still, either the streaming screwed up, or that sound really has gone ballistic.

The text that reads in the button programming should be much bigger. Much MUCH bigger.

Overall, as simplicity goes, this one's got it. I'm sure there are people out there though who have never used Flash, but do want a proper way to get their desired results a la comics, so this probably fits the bill. For having utility, and I imagine it being easy to understand, I give it a "B".

Your crappily drawn comic gives graphics a zero, though, lol.
